Our town does several things to help in this objective:

In the fight against climate change, the role of urban populations is essential to transform and prevent nature from being destroyed. For this, education and the transmission of environmental values ​​to the new generations is an essential task and, with this objective, the city council proposes activities that turn children into people who care for nature. In this way, in addition to promoting tours of educational centers to learn about the trees and shrubs planted, students are invited to become protectors and preservers of their natural environment, learning to value all those elements with which they live or find their way. to school. This permanent work is complemented, on the occasion of Tree Day, where a tree is planted so that the children see its importance.

To publicize the types of trees that exist in Benetússer, they have put up plaques that tell us all the detailed information about each tree.
